I know how overwhelming it can feel when worry, sleepless nights, or health challenges take over. My role is to help you untangle those struggles, build tools that really work, and move toward a calmer, more balanced life.
I specialize in insomnia and sleep concerns, anxiety, OCD and related disorders (including hoarding disorder and body-focused repetitive behaviors), ADHD, chronic pain, and adjustment to medical diagnoses. I also support clients coping with oncology-related concerns and digestive health issues. In our work together, I’ll take a holistic approach that recognizes the mind-body connection, helping you lower stress, strengthen resilience, and make meaningful lifestyle changes.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish, I’m committed to creating a welcoming, culturally responsive space where you feel understood and supported.
I use evidence-based therapies - approaches proven by research - such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These methods are practical and flexible, and we’ll tailor them to your unique needs and goals.
In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive psychological and ADHD assessments. Assessments can help you (or your child) better understand your mental health and cognitive functioning, clarify diagnoses, and guide next steps for treatment, school, or workplace accommodations.
I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including Geisinger Medical Center, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and private group practices, where I supported individuals facing medical, psychological, and everyday life challenges. These experiences shaped my ability to adapt therapy to fit different needs and circumstances.
My academic background includes a doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology from Fordham University, followed by specialized clinical training in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. This blend of research and hands-on training allows me to provide care that is both scientifically grounded and responsive to each client’s unique situation.
I believe in providing care that is not only compassionate, but also informed by the latest research. I stay active in professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and I remain committed to ongoing learning so I can offer the best support possible.
