As a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years of combined experience in lifespan development and clinical practice, I am dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate mental health challenges with compassion, expertise, and evidence-based care.
I specialize in insomnia and sleep-related concerns, anxiety, OCD and related disorders (including hoarding disorder), ADHD, chronic pain, and adjustment to medical diagnoses. I also support individuals managing oncology-related concerns and digestive health conditions. Taking a holistic approach, I emphasize the mind-body connection to help clients manage stress, enhance overall well-being, and implement meaningful lifestyle changes.
Whether facing persistent worry, disrupted sleep, or major life transitions, I provide tailored treatment to meet each client's unique needs. As a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish, I strive to create a culturally responsive and welcoming space where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel supported and understood in their mental health journey.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). With extensive experience in behavioral medicine, psychological assessment, and outpatient care, I provide practical, results-oriented treatment tailored to each client’s needs.
I have worked in diverse clinical settings, including Geisinger Medical Center, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and private group practices. In addition to therapy, I offer comprehensive psychological and ADHD assessments to help individuals gain clarity about their mental health and cognitive functioning.
My academic background includes a doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology from Fordham University, with specialized training in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University.
Providing high-quality, evidence-based care is my priority. I stay engaged with the latest research and best practices to ensure my clients receive treatment informed by the most current psychological advancements. As an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), I remain committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence.
