I am dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate their mental health challenges. My extensive experience allows me to provide compassionate support for those dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and life transitions. Additionally, I specialize in treating insomnia and sleep-related issues, along with health challenges such as chronic pain, oncology-related concerns, and digestive health conditions. As a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish, I am committed to supporting individuals in their mental health journey with care and understanding.
In my practice, I use evidence-based therapies, drawing on extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My professional background includes hands-on experience in behavioral medicine, psychological assessment, and outpatient psychology at Geisinger Medical Center, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and group practice settings. This journey began with a strong commitment to understanding human behavior, leading me to earn my doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology from Fordham University and specialize further in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University.
I stay engaged with the latest research and best practices in my field as an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
